We’re located right in the heart of Fort Myers Beach, just a five-minute walk south from Times Square, with every main beach attraction within walking distance. Our newly renovated beachfront hotel rooms all come with a private balcony facing the Gulf of Mexico. Two rooftop restaurants provide breakfast, lunch, and dinner overlooking the beach so you can enjoy the day from sunrise to sunset – and beyond.

Several ground-level beach bars are available to enjoy – and we’re the only resort on the island to provide bar-t0-beach service.

All day, every day, we proudly host beach DJs who host live entertainment, fun and games that everyone can play, and all night we have our on-site nightclub ‘Club Ohana’ that hosts some of the best bands around – the party only ends when you decide to go upstairs to your room!

The Lani Kai Island Resort was created by the passionate Bob and Grace Conidaris. They wanted to offer a fun and affordable piece of paradise to their guests and the island community – a place that’s unpretentious and inviting, come as you are! A place where the fun never had to stop because making people happy is what the Lani Kai is all about.

Supporting Our Community

For as long as the Lani Kai has been on Fort Myers Beach, we have helped those around us, whether it be through fund-raisers and benefits to toy drives and direct check presentations. One of the many special events near and dear to our heart is our annual blood and bone marrow drive inspired by Mr C’s grandson, Kenny Conidaris, hosted each and every year since 2009 to help raise blood donations and bone marrow registry participants nationwide. These events have potentially saved thousands of lives and because of our generous community, we collect at least 500 pints of blood each year.

Charity is second nature

Over the past 20 years we’ve quietly hosted underprivileged children in our hotel over the Christmas holiday; complete with presents, essentials for their stay and our very own Santa for that extra piece of magic. Additionally, we have also hosted a number of events throughout the years including the Beach VOICE luncheon to thank our local police department for all the help they give to the beach community. We are proud of our charitable achievements so far and look forward to all the others to come.

Lani Kai Artist & muralist

Alan Mishaga may be the most famous artist you’ve never heard of. He’s responsible for all of the Lani Kai Island Resort’s murals ranging in different themes and pop culture references, starting in 1997 on our property and can be seen almost every day adding to the continuously changing murals that envelope the venues. His artwork makes our hotel stand out from any other you’ll ever see. Visit our resort and just take in all the beautiful artwork. You might even recognize some of the hidden references and “Easter Eggs!”
